According to a report from Access Hollywood, a source who works at Paramount, the studio that produces the film, said Fox's character would not be revived in the 3rd part of "Transformers," as producers want to take Shia LaBeouf's character Sam Witwicky in a different direction, reports Fox News.
Director Michael Bay apparently made the decision months after Fox compared his work approach on set to that of Hitler and Napoleon.
Production of Transformers 3 has already begun, according to reports.

Lynch's last film Surveillance starring Bill Pullman and Julia Ormand was premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in May this year. And it is none other than Bollywood siren Mallika Sherawat who has been zeroed in on the title role of a Naagin. Mallika will be the fifth actress to play the legendary character of a Naagin. Vyjayantimala, Reena Roy, Sridevi and Manisha Koirala are the famous Bollywood actresses who had enacted this legendary character previously.
The film also stars Irrfan Khan in a role of a cop who has been given the task to pin down the Naagin and destroy her legendary powers. Hollywood's special effects wizard Robert Kurtzman has been roped in to create some unbelievable graphics for the film. Produced by Ratan Jain's Venus Records and Tapes, Naagin-The Snake Woman has Vikram Singh and Govind Menon as its co-producers.
The shooting starts in various locations and sets, in the last week of July, in a start to finish schedule. Casting is currently on for the rest of the parts in the film. Producer Ratan Jain is very upbeat about the development. Says he, "Venus films is known for its commercial family entertainers. There is lot of work happening between Hollywood and Bollywood and the film with Jennifer lynch starring Mallika Sherawat is a step towards it.
It was a wonderful experience working with Mallika Sherawat in Maan Gaye Mughall-e-Azam. And hence it was natural that we take it further. She is a thorough professional. And I hope that with this film, Venus Films will be associated with more International films in the near future.

LONDON: British actress Keira Knigtley's mother Sharman MacDonald is fine with her daughter doing love scenes.
Sharman is an acclaimed playwright and screen writer. The mother and daughter worked together on 'The Edge of Love', which features a few erotic scenes, reports thesun.co.uk.
“She is playing a character so it doesn't feel weird watching her in 'The Edge of Love'. It's never been like watching my daughter in any of her pieces because she inhabits the character," Sharman said.

The film adaptation, based on the popular American Girl dolls, stars Abigail Breslin as the titular Kit. It opens in limited release June 20 and expands nationwide July 2.
American Girl aficionado Isabella Rhodes, a 7-year-old, Brooklyn-based second grader, hit the Manhattan premiere Thursday night to grill the cast about dolls, dogs, and tree houses:
•Producer Julia Roberts on going behind the scenes: "It's fun. It's challenging, but we got really good actors. We were very lucky." When she was a kid in Georgia, Roberts preferred the written word to the big screen: "I loved Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, but it was really more books. I didn't watch a lot of movies. I read a lot of books."
•Abigail Breslin on being an American Girl: "The most fun thing about making the movie was getting on the set. Everyone was so nice to work with. Also, I liked coming on set and working with the dog and the monkey. It was really cool in the tree house. It was cool to learn how to climb up the ladder and get into the tree house. Everyone was so nice to work with. We always hung out after work."
Jane Krakowski, who plays the film's dance instructor, on learning the film's cool moves: "I enjoyed it because I do dance in real life. What was fun about this one was that I had to learn the dances of the time period. I learned how to Charleston and Jitterbug — dances that were popular back then."
Chris O'Donnell, who plays Breslin's dad, had one highlight from filming: "It was when I got to have my daughter, Lily (who's 8), visit on set. It was a great daddy-daughter weekend. I've had a very good experience playing a father in real life, and it was fun to be Abigail's dad on screen."

Funny guys Mike Myers and Steve Carell aren’t the only stars duking it out this weekend when their comedies “The Love Guru” and “Get Smart” open. So are their popular, glam leading ladies Jessica Alba and Anne Hathaway.
Alba, who has kicked major butt in such TV shows and movies as “Dark Angel” and the “Fantastic Four” franchise in which she plays Sue Storm, goes comedic as the owner of the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey club who inexplicably falls under the spell of Guru Pitka (Myers), a Pillsbury doughboy- shaped guru who has worn a chastity belt since he was a preteen.
Hathaway, who came to fame in the Disney comedy franchise “The Princess Diaries,” plays Agent 99 in the updated version of the 1960s classic sitcom “Get Smart.” More “Honey West” and Emma Peel than the original 99 Barbara Feldon, the secret agent finds herself falling madly in love with new field agent Max Smart (Carell) who is brilliant but bumbling.
Competition is always healthy, so we have pitted the two actresses together to see who is the fairest of them all.
